Additional Scholarship Opportunities

The following scholarship opportunities are provided to Algoma School District graduating students from businesses and community members. They are administered and processed by the Algoma Area Education Foundation, Inc.

ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Janice (Dettman) Hanamann Fund offers a one-time $500 scholarship to a worthy graduating high school senior planning on furthering their education.

MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Norma Mueller and Marge Curtin Memorial Fund offers a $1,000 yearly scholarship to a worthy student planning on attending a two- or four-year institution.

MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The James R. Blahnik Fund offers a one-time scholarship of $500 to a worthy graduating high school senior planning on furthering their education in an agriculture program.

THE RUTZ FAMILY SCHOLARSHIP

ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIPS

The Rutz Family Scholarship offers two $1,000 scholarships to worthy high school seniors planning to attend a trade school, technical college, or 4-year college or university. Preference to students pursuing a career in education or healthcare.

MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

The Bob Junio Fund offers a $1000 scholarship, paid in two $500 installments, to a worthy high school senior planning to attend a technical school for the trade of electrician, plumber, or heating and cooling.

SCHOLARSHIP

The Kewaunee County Tavern League sponsors a scholarship in the amount of $500 to an Algoma High School student.

SCHOLARSHIP

The Muskrat City Sportsman’s Club Scholarship is offering a one-time scholarship of $750 to a worthy Algoma High School Senior planning to attend a two- or four-year institution.
